Tournament Productions Membership

Requirements for Participation

The reason that we come together is to re-discover and preserve Western Martial arts and the path of the sword. This is a serious quest. The participant is expected to contribute to these ends. Time is required to learn new skills and to pratice as a student.   All group projects require extensive set-up as a group and extensive clean-up and repairs, also as a group. The contribution of time to the parts of the project that benefit everyone are in addition to the extensive time required to support your own participation. Money is required! This is loosely based on other sports, such as golf, skiing, snowboarding, shooting, and rodeo. Beginning with dues for member students.  At each formal tournament, there will be an arena fee per day to help cover the costs of the arena.

The participant is expected to support their own participation as nearly as possible. This is clearly not possible at first, however, long term combatants are expected to acquire armor and training equipment. Armor is expensive to maintain and arrangements must be made to have the use of armour for each tournament. Each tournament requires much company equipment (arena, perimeter fence, shade, seating, table, weapons, and armour).  Everyone is expected to respond in an appropriate military manner to instructions or orders from the appropriate officers. Discipline is expected at all times, respect is expected at all times.

Membership in Tournament productions is available in 2 levels currently:

Associate Membership:

An Associate membership in Tournament Productions give the following benefits:

3. Access to Video training materials (on-line)
4. Virtual training instruction and assistance
5. Visitation to our San Diego Training facility
6. Access to our events - as available

• This is designed for members that live 200 miles or more outside of our training centers.

6. Access to Video training materials (both on-line and hard copy)
